We invest in projects at the conceptual or prototype phase only. If you are a clinician, academic, engineer, entrepreneur, or inventor with a well-defined clinical problem or with a potential solution, we would be interested in hearing from you.

Please provide us with a description of and insight into the clinical problem and/or need; reasons why existing solutions to resolve it are not satisfactory; and what improvements will result from your proposed solution.

At this initial stage, there is no need to have a plan in place to achieve these positive outcomes, nor a description of how your proposed technological approach actually works. Your initial description of the clinical problem or your proposed solution should not contain any confidential information.

At a later stage, we will work with you to protect the confidentiality of your innovations before you disclose any type of confidential information.

Once a mutual decision to proceed has been made, Shalon Ventures will tailor a package to meet your individual needs and interests. As a result, you will be involved as a full partner in the creation and development of a new and exciting company.
